Triathlon at Wharewaka Point (4 Mile Bay)
There will be a short distance race which is compulsory for 12 years and under and a super long course which ALL 13 years or older athletes must compete if you wish to be eligible for the club champs. Please note anyone can enter the short distance race however if you are over 11 years of age you will not be eligible for the club champs .
Short Course - 200m swim, 8.7km cycle and 1.25km run
Long course- 400m swim, 17.4km cycle and 3.7km run
This year our charity triathlon will be held at Wharewaka Point (4 mile bay), we will be supporting the Taupo Community Foodbank. Please tell as many people as you know to get a team together and come along to enjoy this super annual event. There are also the usual individual races so everyone is welcome to compete and lots of spot prizes!!!

NZ Epic Swim - Saturday 14th January 2012
The NZ Epic Swim will once again be taking place on the shores of Lake Taupo in 2012. Dont miss out on this exciting open water event that caters for all ability levels.There will be the opportunity to come and swim with New Zealands best pool and open water swimmers. Swimmers in the State Insurance New Zealand Open Water Championships are pushing for the opportunity to compete at the London Olympics. Check out their website www.epicswim.co.nz

Taupo Tri-Sports 2011/2012 Season - Are You Ready.......?
Hi everyone the 2011/2012 season is soon to begin. Monday 10th October 2011 at 6pm sharp we kick off with our first Duathlon. Registration starts from 5.30 pm. We encourage all age groups/abilities to come along and give it a go. Remember nothing is impossible! Meet you all at the AC Baths Carpark and hope for some great Spring weather.
We are a professionally run club and we pride ourselves in supporting all of our members,whether they simply just want to have a go or achieve at an Elite level.We have a Youth Development training programme and encourage the youth to get involved and develop their skills through some great training planned this season with Cam Durno ( For more information check out our youth development section).

MAINSTREET PHARMACY TRIATHLON, 4 Mile Bay, 17th January 2011
The Trisport Taupo summer series moved to 4 Mile Bay (Wharewaka Point) on Monday evening for the first of the new year triathlons. The Mainstreet Pharmacy sponsored triathlon attracteda large field of 64 individuals and teams. The course was over a 200m swim, 13km bike (3laps) and a 2.5km run course.
